That place related to the
Middle Stone age of VII-VI thousands century whicn located in river Boysuntogbetween High and Low of
Machay villages. In the Middle centuries the cave was used in the period of
Kuchonempire. The Cave of Machay located on the top of the city and 70 m high
from the river. The enterance of the
cave in the south 20m wide, 11m depth and between 3-2,5m tall.
The cave of Machay consists
of many layers as a stone age, one of them there found a lot of tools. Those
tools had different shapes which made of
stone and they were stone knives, saw
tools and sharp arrow and other type of tools. The tools which made of bones
had 15 copies and they were used as needles and awl. In the history of Middle
Asia, where encountered leftovers of
person body bones as in Tekintosh place.
According to the results of anthropologic scientist T. Q. Hodjayev, in the Cave of Machay the buried people were mature man, and the second was woman and the
third one was child.
As to the researcher the digged
people were related to the race of European. In the cave within peoples body
bones there were vary types of animals bones. Especially, encountering small
and huge animal bones is very important in learning our countries history.
Accounting that the village of Machay was rich for the world of wild fruits and
plants , the harvest was very important
in the life of the population.
