Budrach

“Budrach” memorial belongs to the IXV – XVI centuries B.C .Chagoniyonis the city of Chagoniyon country. The town is situated 6 km further  fromDenov in the South East and it stands on the right and left banks of the river Qizilsuv in Zahartepa village 1 km above Surhon river fall.

The territory of Arkialo is 1.5 hectare, the height is 18 m.

The territory of the complex where official ceremonies are held is 2 hectare. The suburbs of this town are Northern, Eastern, and Western parts of Shahristan. Archeological investigations were done by Uzbekistan Art Expedition at Budrach memorial between 1977 – 1989 years.

According to the results of this investigation the territory of this town is appointed as 6 square km. and it was proved that town Chagoniyon was located at the spot of Budrach. According to the investigation Chagoniyon existed within ten main periods.(epochs)

1.     I century B.C. on the spot of Oqmozor and Dunyotepa the first village was faunded.

2.     Arkialo was founded and suburbia area is appeared

3.     In the III-IV centuries A.D Chagoniyon was under depression.

4.     The end of V century A.D and the beginning of VIII century. The becoming of Chaganiyan into the  central city of Chaganiyan’s territory. 3 parts of Chaganiyon’s territory turns intocity.

5.     The life continuation after the Arabians conquer in the VIIl- IX centuries.

6.     High development of the city during the X-XI centuries and its participants of dynasty Muhtojiylar became the centre of the city.

7.     The middles of the XI and XII centuries. The destruction of the city by saljukiy Alp Arslon in the middle of the XI century.

8.     Redevelopment of the city beginning of the second part of the century.

9.     XII-XV centuries . Destruction of the city by Mongoloids at the beginning of the period, in the result the destruction of Shakhristan. The development of Rabot (countryside) during the period of Temurides.

10. Destruction of the city at the beginning of the XVI century in the period of Shaybonies. The formation of the centre instead of Denov.

The monument  ofTerrakotas and especially coins, modules of handicrafts products concerning to the I and the beginning of XVI A.D. were found in Budrach memorial. It is obviously important finding of treasure of metal items concerning to the beginning of X-XI century in Budrach memorial and treasure of reflected coins of Soson shahs Peroz (459-484) and Khusraf I (531-579).
